May 9th 2011

Sure has been a long time since I last updated my weekly blog here. I guess I should just change it to a monthly blog posting. Spring has been pretty crappy this year. A lot of windy and rainy days, even some snow in there to keep us honest. It sure isn't doing any good for the fishing around here that's for sure. I think we have finally made the turn and things are getting warmer and greener.

I have been out fishing quite a lot since my last blog report and I am not complaining. I sure have been giving my new boat a run for the money and it has performed flawlessly. The motor I have on it has been working awesomely as well, as long as the gas line IS attached to it! Go to the Fishing Edition and click on 2011 and check out the many new pictures so far this year!

Seems how I purchased a new boat this year I needed to sell me old one. I had it posted of Craig's list for about a month and I didn't get any takers. Finally some guy came back with a trade offer on a snow machine. It is a 1995 Arctic Cat Cougar 550. I think it was a good trade and it will surely help get us out on the ice this winter for some good Ice fishing. I really didn't like taking my truck out there and a lot of times it's a very long walk carrying a lot of gear, the Cougar will make it a short easy trip. There are some minor things I would like to get fixed on it but it's good to go right now if needed. Check it out on the Pictures Edition.

Work has been going pretty good. They have been hiring a bunch of guys and re-assigning some guys to different start times to make everyone's life easier. I think it is working. My forced overtime has dropped a lot and I am getting home in time at night to be able to do things again. No to start getting things picked up and looking good around here again, it's been a long winter.

That's all that's been going on around here lately.

Goodnight from Wisconsin.
