As a younger adult and teenager I used to hunt a lot with friends and family. My Grandfather Lawrance was the first to take me out Whitetail Deer hunting, although I never got a kill. I have had a few kills since then but nothing that could be considered a trophy. I mainly hunt for the meat but someday I might run across a trophy.

My Grandfather Lawrence then showed me some secrets of hunting Ring Neck Pheasant, to which I had a lot of kills. The Pheasant season after he passed away in 1996 I went on a hunt with a friend and got the biggest rooster I had ever shot. The longest tail feather is 23.5 inches long. I made a home made tail mount of the feathers and it is still in my home, it reminds me of our time hunting together every time I see it.

After I joined the Army I didn't do any hunting. After I came home from my short Army time I did do a little bit more hunting until I started driving truck over the road. After 13 years of no hunting I decided it was time to get back at it. In 2009 I finally got back out for the Whitetail Deer hunt. I hope to do a lot more hunting of different animals in the future.

Each of the links below will take you to a sperate page for that year with pictures and a short description of the fun had. Some days were full of fun and others, well, not so much.
